Brief History... 

Lion Dennis Van Drunen took the reins as president. We held our 1st Annual Awards Night. The presentation of the Lion of the Year award was presented to Lion Bob Andraschko. We had nine new members join our club during the year. The 1st annual Father/Child Banquet was held and Snowflake the Clown was a great success. Fruit cake sales were started for the 1st time. Ten cases were obtained. The highlight of the year was the fielding of the Pride of the Sunset Lions volleyball team at the YMCA Olympics. Of the 8 teams present, we came in 7th. For the 1st time, the Club went to Camp Winnebago for a meal and a tour of the facilities.
